Monetary Donations
The Stony Plain Public Library appreciates all donations and contributions it receives from the community and partners.
Donations over $20 are eligible for a tax receipt. If you have any questions about donating, please contact our Director.
We are no longer accepting book donations.

Accepts books. Items should be in good condition for resale. Drop off only. Click the link for location hours.

Volunteers are individuals who reach out beyond the confines of paid employment and normal responsibilities to contribute time and service to assist the Stony Plain Public Library to accomplish its mission, in the belief that their activity is beneficial to others as well as satisfying for themselves. There are several different ways that you can volunteer at Stony Plain Library; we try to match your skills to the needs of the library.
Status: Accepting new members.
These community minded individuals help promote awareness of the library’s programs and services to aid in raising funds to meet special library needs. Friends also have the opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the benefits of being a Friend of the Library.
Status: All positions currently filled.
Our board is in charge the delivery of library service to the community through developing and supervising the implementation of the library’s plan of service and other aspects of governance, including financial oversight and writing policies and by-laws.
