Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins
2 Ripe Bananas mashed
1 egg
½ cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups rolled oats
11/2 cups white flour
½ cup whole wheat flour
¾ cup sugar
½ cup chocolate chips
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
Preheat your oven to 375 F
Put the above ingredients into a large bowl and mix until there are no dry ingredients left.
Prepare a muffin baking pan with individual paper muffin cups. Spoon mixture into the cups about ¾ of the way full. Place them into the oven for 25-30 minutes and enjoy!

Double Chocolate Chip Banana Zucchini Bread
½ Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 ½ cups white flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup white sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups zucchini
¾ cup mashed ripe bananas, or two medium bananas
1 cup chocolate chips

Strawberry Banana Smoothie
“A Berry Good Smoothie”
2 Bananas
1 cup milk
2 cups frozen or fresh strawberries
1 cup plain yogurt
Blender
Put all ingredients into the blender and with an adults help, if necessary, start the blender.
Blend until smooth and enjoy!

½ cup large flake oats
Dairy Products
½ cup milk
1/3 cup vanilla yogurt
Fruit & co.
2 tbsp dried dates, chopped (optional)
1 Tbsp cocoa
Peanut butter

Remembrance Day Berry Cream Salad
1 box of vanilla instant pudding
1 container of Greek vanilla yogurt
1 container of whipping cream
2 small bags of frozen mixed red berries
Red food colouring
Mix the vanilla instant pudding with the container of vanilla yogurt in a large bowl. Add a few drops of red food colouring and mix well. Gently fold in half of the container of whipping cream. Now gently fold in one bag of red berries. Pour the second bag of red berries into a tall, clear glass dessert bowl. Pour mixture on top of the berries and top with the rest of the whipping cream. Decorate with some berries and serve. Enjoy!

Edible Play Dough Kids Can Cook Recipe for November 16, 2020
1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1 cup Powdered Sugar
½ cup Dried/powdered milk
¼-1/3 cup honey

Combine Peanut butter, powdered sugar, and dried milk in a medium sized mixing bowl. Add ¼ cup of honey and mix until combined.

If mixture seems to be a little dry add another tablespoon or two of Honey. Try not to exceed 1/3 cup total honey in the recipe.

Form into a large ball once mixture is mixed. You can wrap and store in the fridge until you need to use it or you can immediately give large pieces to children to play with.

Store leftover playdough in airtight bags, plastic wrap or containers in the fridge. When ready to use it again, let it sit out for 30 minutes to become pliable again.

Dog Bones: Bake a treat for your pet!

2 cups flour
1 cup Cornmeal
¼ cup wheat germ
2 tsp beef bouillon powder
½ tsp garlic powder
1 egg
1Tbsp cooking oil
1 cup Hot Water
Steps
Turn oven on to 275 degrees F. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Stir. Add the egg, cooking oil and water. Stir well. Roll out on a well-floured surface to a ½ inch thickness. Cut into bone shapes and other shapes. Arrange on the ungreased cookie sheet. Bake on the centre rack in the oven for about 2 hours until dry and very hard. Use the oven mitts to remove the cookie sheet to the wire rack. Cool. Let stand overnight to dry thoroughly. Store in a container with a lid. Makes 10 big dog bones and 14 puppy bones.

Apple Spice Overnight Oats
½ cup oats (large flake oats)
1/3 cup milk
½ cup vanilla yogurt
¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
¼ cup diced apple
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch cinnamon and nutmeg
Put all the above ingredients into a wide mouth canning jar, put the lid on and shake them up to mix them. Place the jar in the fridge overnight and enjoy in the morning. Note: If you only have regular flake oats do not add them to the jar until the morning, close the lid and give it a good shake again after adding the oats.

Winter Hamburger Soup
1tsp Cooking oil
1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
1 cup chopped onion
5 cups Beef Stock
1 -19oz. Can of mixed beans, rinsed and drained
1 -14 oz. Can of diced tomatoes with juice
1 cup Coleslaw
½ cup macaroni (pre-cook and add to your own bowl when you are eating the soup, if desired)
1tsp Chili powder
½ tsp Garlic powder
½ tsp Pepper
1 tsp salt
Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add beef and onion. Scramble fry about 10 minutes until the beef is no longer pink. Drain. Add remaining 8 ingredients to a crock pot. Add cook beef and onion. Simmer on low for 8-10 hours or high for 2-4 hours.
