Q) When will the library reopen?

The library is now open, although we do have some restrictions. Read more here

Q) Can I drop off items? 

A) Our drop box is open 10am-7pm. The limited hours allow us to better control incoming items to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are not accepting donations at this time.  

Q) Can I place new holds?  

A) Yes, the holds system has been reactivated and you can request items from other libraries again. If you really liked our grab bag option you can still request a grab bag by calling 780-963-5440 or by emailing info@mysppl.ca 

Q) Will my books still be on hold? 

A) You will receive a notification when your hold is available and the holds will be waiting at the library for a limited time. You can get your holds by coming into the library or you can continue to get your holds as a curbside delivery.

Q) Will I get charged late fees? 

A) Due dates for all items have been extended to July 31st. If we’re closed beyond July 31st we will extend due dates further. 

Q) What do I do if my membership is about to expire? 

A) If your membership is about to expire or has expired, please contact us by phone (780-963-5440) or email (info@mysppl.ca) to extend your membership or come in to visit the library during our opening hours Monday to Friday 10am-7pm. More info here

Q) What if I’ve forgotten my PIN? 

A) We can reset that for you, no problem. Just contact us by phone (780-963-5440) or email (info@mysppl.ca). 

Q) I need to copy/print/fax/email, can I do that? 

A) As of June 22 we will be allowing people into the library. You can book two hours of computer time or WiFi access with a place to plug in your computer. We will be doing faxing on a drop in basis. 

Q) I always come into the library to read the newspapers. What do I do now? 

A) With your library membership you have access to newspapers and magazines on the internet with Pressreader and RB Digital.  Check them out under eResources or ask us how
