Reopening

HOORAY!

We’re ready to have people come into the library again!

Of course, we still have to make sure everyone stays 2m apart so things are going to be very different inside the Library for a while yet.

Keep an eye on our Facebook/Instagram/Twitter posts for up to date info.

We are open:
Monday-Friday 10am-7:00pm

Right now You CAN:

  • Do some Grab ‘n Go browsing of the shelves
  • Place holds online from our homepage
  • Get curbside service for your holds
  • Come in and use computer/wifi/study space for up to 2 hours if one is available
  • Guarantee your spot by reserving a computer/wifi/study space here
  • Drop in to get photocopying/faxing/printing/scanning
  • Book an exam
  • Request 3D printing projects

Of course, some conditions apply:

  • We can only have 14 people in the library at a time (not including staff).
  • You have to wear a mask. If you don't have one, we'll give you one of ours.
  • Anyone exhibiting symptoms will not be allowed to enter the library or be asked to leave if they begin displaying symptoms.

We know this isn’t how it was in the “before times” but we’re all really happy that we can start seeing your faces again, even if it’s only the bit above your mask!

Order 05-2020 legally obligates individuals who have a cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, or sore throat (that is not related to a pre-existing illness or health condition) to be in isolation for 10 days from the start of symptoms, or until symptoms resolve, whichever takes longer. https://www.alberta.ca/assets/documents/covid-19-workplace-guidance-for-business-owners.pdf
